Development of the film began and was confirmed in 2016. It will be the first film in the series to be internationally distributed by Universal Pictures, which acquired the rights following the expiration of Columbia Pictures' contract after the release of Spectre. In the United States, United Artists Releasing holds the rights, including worldwide digital and television rights. Universal will also release the film on physical home media worldwide. Principal photography lasted from April to October 2019 under the working title of Bond 25. The official title was announced to be No Time to Die in August 2019.
No Time to Die will have its world premiere at the Royal Albert Hall in London on 31 March 2020, followed by its theatrical release globally from 2 April 2020 in the United Kingdom, 10 April 2020 in the United States and on 2 April 2020 in India. This movie release in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu languages.
