2007's popular Korean drama series Coffee Prince All Cast Is Going to reunite in the upcoming MBC documentary program DocuFlex.
Drama Synopsis
The drama portrays the story of an unlikely romance between a tomboyish woman, who dresses like a man to get work, and a young food empire mogul. It contains homoerotic elements. As the man does not initially know of the tomboy's real sex. Hailed as a hit for its high ratings, the drama received positive reviews from critics and won multiple awards.
Then main stars Yoon Eun-Hye (Go Eun-chan), Gong Yoo (Choi Han-kyul),
Lee Sun-Kyun (Diary of a Prosecutor), and Chae Jung-an (Legal High), including supporting actors Kim Dong-Wook (Find Me in Your Memory) and Kim Jae-Wook (Her Private Life),
are going back to the coffee shop in Hongdae that housed the most unforgettable scenes in Coffee Prince. The documentary will feature exclusive interviews of the cast's 2020 perspective of the show.
In the nostalgic video teaser that MBC dropped on the 15th, the cast is all smiling as they tread along the path towards the shop, an absolute realization of the phrase "walking down memory lane." When they finally got inside, the early birds immediately became comfortable with the familiar ambiance of the place. Still, the most heart-pounding moments were when they dramatically turned to welcome those who have just arrived. The next scenes quickly turned emotional when the cast members appear to have learned of a "surprise" from the program's production crew.
