Stars are continuing to make donations to fight against the spread of COVD-19 (novel coronavirus) in South Korea.

On February 27, Kim Yo Han donated 10 million won (approximately $8,300) to the Hope Bridge Disaster Relief Association. His donation will be used to purchase masks for those with weak immune systems.

Red Velvet’s Irene gave 100 million won (approximately $83,000) to the Daegu Community Chest of Korea to be used towards purchasing prevention supplies and supporting medical staff.

TVXQ’s Yunho, Red Velvet’s Seulgi, Joy, and Yeri each donated 30 million won (approximately $24,900) to the Community Chest of Korea.
Red Velvet’s Wendy donated 100 million won to the Community Chest of Korea to support patients and medical staff battling COVID-19.

Seol In Ah donated 10 million won to the Hope Bridge Disaster Fund and asked that it be used to purchase masks and hand sanitizers for low-income families.
Kang Daniel gave 50 million won (approximately $41,500) to the Hope Bridge Disaster Relief Association.

Actor Yoo Hae Jin donated 50 million won to the Hope Bridge Disaster Relief Association to purchase supplies to prevent the spread of COVID-19 amongst those with weak immune systems.

SM Entertainment gave 500 million won (approximately $415,000) to the Hope Bridge Disaster Relief Association to use medical staff masks and medical supplies.
Byun Jung Soo donated 1,000 hand sanitizer sprays to the Miral Welfare Foundation, delivered to the disabled and elderly in low-income families.
Kim Na Young gave 10 million won to the Beautiful Foundation to cover the living costs of single-mother families who are struggling due to the coronavirus’s effect on the economy.

Nam Joo Hyuk donated 50 million won to the Daegu Community Chest of Korea to purchase prevention supplies and support medical staff.


Song Joong Ki gave 100 million won to the Hope Bridge Disaster Relief Association while filming a movie in Colombia.

Apink’s Son Naeun donated 50 million won to the Daegu Community Chest of 
Korea.

Baek Ji Young donated 10,000 masks to NGO Save the Children to prevent the spread of COVID-19 amongst children in low-income families.

Lee Seung Gi gave 100 million won to NGO Good Neighbors to support children's protection in low-income families from COVID-19.


Jung Ryeo Won donated 100 million won to NGO Good Neighbors to prevent the coronavirus spread amongst socially vulnerable people.

BTS’ Suga gave 100 million won to the Hope Bridge Disaster Relief Association to help his hometown of Daegu.


Former Olympic figure skater Kim Yuna and her fans donated 185 million won (approximately $153,100) to UNICEF Korea and asked for COVID-19 treatment.


Actor couple Kwon Sang Woo and Son Tae Young gave 100 million won to the Korean Red Cross.
IU donated 100 million won each to Good Neighbors and to the Korea Medical Association. She also donated anti-contamination clothing and masks to the Korea Medical Association to support the medical staff fighting COVID-19.


Park Shin Hye gave 50 million won to Food for the Hungry. Her donation will be used to provide masks for low-income families in Korea.
Seo Jang Hoon donated 100 million won to the Green Umbrella Foundation to help children in low-income families.


Soyou gave 20 million won (approximately $16,600) to NGO Good Neighbors.
Actress Soo Ae donated 50 million won to the Hope Bridge Disaster Relief Association under her real name Park Soo Ae.

Girls’ Generation’s YoonA gave 100 million won to the Community Chest of Korea. This donation will be used to purchase masks and hand sanitizers for the medical staff and support vulnerable immune systems.
Jun Ji Hyun donated 100 million won to the Hope Bridge Disaster Relief Association.

The staff of “Crash Landing on You” showed support for the fight against COVID-19. Writer Park Ji Eun donated 30 million won while production companies Culture Depot and Studio Dragon gave 100 million won to the Hope Bridge Disaster Relief Association.

Kim Hee Sun gave 100 million won and asked to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and purchasing masks and hand sanitizers.
Block B’s Zico donated 30 million won to Good Neighbors, and 30 million won to the Seoul Community Chest of Korea.

Drama writer Kim Eun Sook and production company Hwa & Dam Pictures CEO Yoon Ha Rim each donated 20 million won to the Hope Bridge Disaster Relief Association.

Lee Jong Suk donated 100 million won worth of medical-grade anti-contamination suits to the Korean Medical Association to show his gratitude and respect for medical staff working to treat COVID-19 patients.

GOT7’s JB donated 10 million won to the Hope Bridge Disaster Relief Association under his real name Im Jae Bum.
Yoo Se Yoon gave 10 million won under his name, and 30,000 won ($25) under his son’s name Yoo Min Ha to the Hope Bridge Disaster Relief Association.

Kim Soo Hyun donated 100 million won to the Daegu Community Chest of Korea after hearing a shortage of pressure machines. His donation will be used to purchase these machines, which will be delivered to hospitals in need.

Lee Seo Jin gave 100 million won to the Daegu Community Chest of Korea to support the most infected region in Korea.
Simon Dominic donated 50 million won to the Hope Bridge Disaster Relief Association under his real name Jung Ki Suk.

Director Bong Joon Ho gave 100 million won to the Hope Bridge Relief Association under the name of his award-winning film “Parasite.”

Ji Chang Wook donated 100 million won to the Daegu Red Cross.
